We lost our good friend, musical leader, superb musician and bandmate on 17 September 2021, after his courageous fight with cancer.
Chuck began playing saxophone at age ten under the tutelage of Edwin F. Englehart at Caesar Rodney school. He graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 1981 with a BS in Music Education. He taught music at his alma mater and gave private instruction in woodwinds through various local music stores.
He played with area bands continuously for almost forty years, including Cook ‘n Good, The Cutters, Kathie Martin & the Hot Rods, The Honeycombs, Skinny Leg Pete and Reunion. He also played in contemporary worship praise bands at Wyoming UMC and Woodside UMC. Chuck was a member of Reunion Band from 2013 to 2019 and again from 2020 to 2021.
